Bump

The second in the "Suburbia" series, these spring turns were filmed on the north face of Mt. Olympus, within sight of Salt Lake City and a million people. It's not steep, the snow wasn't good, and the skiing is...interesting.

It was a good time nonetheless, and I think this short video captures the day well.

Second Mouse

First turns of the 2004-2005 season.

October snows in the Wasatch can be quite impressive. When skiing with the Mint Chew Sessions team isn't, make sure you're carrying some Irish whiskey.

Suburbia

Sometimes the best skiing a short walk from your front door.

These turns were filmed above the Salt Lake City suburban landscape in February 2004.

Get some.

Farewell For Now

What can I say about five years in the North Cascades distilled into a nine-minute video?

These are the epics, fiascos, good times and friends that change you forever.

Pappy's Log 04-20-03

Although not technically a Mint Chew Session, Aidan's first day in the "backcountry" can certainly be proclaimed a chew-worthy event, so I've included it here.

Note: Please don't send me any ranting emails about "leaving a small baby unsupervised in the wilderness!" We amateur video-makers are full of tricks and special effects that can make overly-imaginative people jump to erroneous conclusions.

Laps

Taken from one day in the Mt. Baker backcountry, the footage is a little monotonous and the editing is a little boring, but the skiing was good.

So--if only for posterity--here is my first attempt at a ski video.
